My top students and I talk a lot about having the right mindset.
For new traders, it's counterintuitive. So here's a tip to get you going in the right direction...
Most newbies start with one question in their minds, "How can I learn to trade?"
Their reason for wanting to learn to trade almost doesn't matter.
But often it's because they heard about someone making a lot of money.
And THAT gets their greed glands all in a tizzy.
So they google something like … 'how to learn stock trading.'
Sounds perfectly logical, right?
Here's the problem — 99% of the search results lead to a barrage of hype.
Almost nobody says. "Slow down. Let's put things in perspective. Set your mindset first."
Why?
Because most people don't want to hear it.
They want hot picks and promises of crazy cash. They want a promise that if they do X, Y, and Z they'll get rich.
But that's just BS. There are no guarantees.
Here's another tip most trading teachers won't share freely...
Trading is a game of two moving targets.
The first target is the market or even the stock you're trading.
But the second target … that's YOU.
Aim for the second target first.
