Investors got plenty of good news today as some key indicators hint at the US economy recovering more quickly than anticipated. Current data shows that GDP may have grown by 10% for the first quarter. And manufacturing is at its highest level since 2018. While unemployment is still a sticking point, there are signs that it will soon improve. When you pair these positive notes with the upcoming stimulus package, experts point toward a US economy that could blaze a new trail in just a few short months. But with that comes the prospect of more volatility as the market searches for direction. That's why I'm keeping an eye on all of the key indicators to make sure we don't miss any opportunities.
