It's March — time for a reminder about the risks of trading OTCs like those on my weekly stocks list.
The crazy promo activity we're seeing isn't anything new. I've seen it before.
In 2014 it was weed stocks getting pumped by the Wolf of Weed Street. In 2017 it was crypto.
More recently we saw EV and solar sector momo fueled by social media frenzy. And another run on crypto stocks.
Last year it was a guy called Stan pumping junk stocks "to the moon."
By the way, it seems he's back and pumping as hard as ever. Last week he linked a three-year-old video as due diligence. He tweets the stocks he's promoting dozens of times a day.
Keep in mind, I want the promoters to do a good job.
My goal isn't to stop them. It's to educate you so you don't buy into the BS.
OTCs are NOT long-term investments. Ever.
Don't be fooled.
