ACWA update

We would like to start this edition with a warm welcome to our new student members who are settling in to TAFE and university life. As you start on your journey to become a professional community worker, remember you are not alone. Your classmates, teachers and even us here at ACWA can be a source of support along the way.

For members who are already qualified the insurance policy for 2021-2022 is in place and updated insurance certificates will be emailed to the full and provisional members who have requested this service. This does take time but we will get the certificates out as quickly as possible.

This is also an opportune time to remind those reading who may not yet have joined ACWA, that all qualified members are covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance as part of member benefits. If you work in private practice, this can be a considerable saving.

No matter where you are in your career journey, ACWA membership brings many benefits.
