The House voted to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee posts, an extraordinary step in response to recently uncovered incendiary rhetoric from the GOP lawmaker.
The vote, mostly along party lines, comes after GOP leaders refused to unilaterally remove Greene from the House Education and Budget panels on their own.
Greene distanced herself from some of her more controversial comments in a speech before Thursday's vote but did not apologize for her behavior.
