Hey Eater readers, We wanted to let you know about an exclusive wine made for Eater Wine Club subscribers this month. The wine, called "Deep Cuts," is a collaboration with popular wine label The Marigny and Eater Wine Club's curator for February, Portland wine director Brent Braun — who describes it this way: "This wine is a special blend of four grapes made just for Eater Wine Club. The Marigny's Andy Young and I spent an afternoon tasting and blending to concoct something unique, delicious, and chuggable. Blending wine with a winemaker is a blast, and it's fun to see how each different barrel really adds its stamp to a final blend. In this blend, the base of sauvignon blanc explodes with citrus. The chardonnay brings weight and exotic tropical fruit. The auxerrois adds minerality and texture, and the pinot gris adds freshness. Easy peasy, right? I'd pair it with ceviche or fried chicken." | | | Sounds good, right? This one-of-a-kind wine is made for members who subscribe to the four-bottle box, so subscribe to Eater Wine Club now and join Brent at this month's virtual wine tasting. — Your friends at Eater | | | |
