The House quad committee's explosive recommendation: Ex-President Rodrigo Duterte, Senators Bong Go and Bato dela Rosa, and four former police officers should be charged with crimes against humanity for the drug war that killed thousands of Filipinos.
Mary Jane Veloso is back on PH soil after over 14 years in an Indonesian jail. At the Correctional Institution for Women where she was immediately taken upon her arrival, Veloso again appealed to President Marcos to grant her executive clemency.
Amid public fury over fund cuts and other controversial items seen in the General Appropriations Bill for 2025, the Palace said the President will not sign the bill on Friday as earlier planned, but will instead scrutinize and veto parts of the budget.
