Happy Friday! If all goes well, I'll be taking two international trips later this year, and I couldn't be more excited. The last trip I took was way back in March 2023, and I've become the textbook definition of "stir-crazy." But I just got a new passport, and flights are being booked as we speak. So now is a great time to talk about unpopular travel opinions.

No matter how hard I try, packing light is not something I can do. No amount of packing hacks, cubes, etc. have helped, but honestly, I've just accepted it at this point. But you know what's another unpopular travel opinion I can get behind: you shouldn't recline your seat on planes. There I said it! Seats on planes are so tight together anyway, and there's virtually no legroom. There's no reason for your headrest to be an inch away from my face. Wow, that felt good to say out loud.
