Let Nurse Corps Pay for School Nursing school is expensive; let the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program help! If accepted, we pay your tuition, fees, and other educational costs, plus a monthly stipend. In return, you work at a Critical Shortage Facility when you graduate. Nurse Corps Scholars make an impact in underserved communities throughout our nation. The Nurse Corps Scholarship Program application will open Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Learn More About the Program Prepare to Apply! Step 1: Determine if you're eligible.  You are currently an accepted or enrolled full-time student pursuing nursing education at an accredited U.S. school of nursing. You are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a U.S. national, or a lawful U.S. permanent resident. Your classes begin no later than September 30, 2024. You do not have any federal judgment liens, overdue federal debt, or an existing federal service commitment. Step 2: Learn how to apply. Subscribe to receive application email updates. Review our application website. Step 3: Gather your documents. These include, but are not limited to, your:  proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident status; current tuition and fee schedule; and transcript.
