Even smaller accounts could trade a Meta like this and it would be worth it.
That's why I disagree with adding more and more leverage.
It's interesting, because there's more to the above Meta test.
The in-sample period (2013-2018) that the Meta was trained on shows a 184% annual return.
The shaded part, the out of sample used to confirm it's not over-fit to the past, shows a 384% gain.
No kidding!
Why the sudden 200% out-performance?
Because a slew of leveraged ETFs came into existence around 2017.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have more ETFs that over-lap with what you can do in the futures market, such as sugar, soybeans, currencies, and more, but I think the 4x ETN is overkill and not really adding anything to the space.
With that said, if you've been on the fence about using Meta ML because it's "hard" or something, let me explain that it's easy as 1-2-3.
1) You just pull up the Josh 2023 Meta strategy.
2) Enter how many strategies you want to trade at once.
3) Hit Start, and enter the trades it gives you with your broker.
I've tested that Meta strategy from just a single strategy being traded, to 50. Works great.
Take a look for yourself. It'll only cost you a measly buck.

It'll literally take you 5 minutes to see for yourself.
Just for fun, and typed in "1" strategy to trade at once to see recent performance. Oh man, who wouldn't want results like this, lol:
