Once launched, this "golden yuan" will incentivize nations across the globe to abandon trading in US dollars and switch to yuan instead.
Countries have lost confidence in the dollar after the US froze Russia's dollar reserves. China is exploiting this distrust to overtake the dollar's dominance.
Backing the yuan with gold would drain trillions of dollars from the US economy. Our stocks, bonds, and retirement accounts would crash as trade shifts to the yuan. | | | Stocks, bonds, and retirement accounts denominated in dollars would crash in value. The dollar itself would plummet compared to other currencies. | | | By clicking the link above you agree to periodic updates from our sponer and their partners (privacy policy)

Hey there, Bullets Fans - |
A lot of folks have been skipping the debates since Trump got away with it, and he's on the ticket. So, if you're one of them, here's an interesting take on last night's debate's three big winners (and one big loser). What do you think? Reply back and let me know. Back on this day in 1909, the plastics industry emerged, now known as the arch-enemy of sea turtles, the environment, and potentially human fertility. The industry began with the invention of Bakelite, which, despite its cool name, is simply phenol, formaldehyde, and sometimes asbestos. Who invented this material and initiated the ongoing cleanup craze we face more than a century later? (Check the bottom of today's email for the answer.) So, is there or isn't there election integrity? On the one hand, you get disparaged for questioning the legitimacy of any election (unless it's the 2016 election.) But is it really that safe? If so, why are so many of these elections getting thrown out, forcing regions to start all over and do them again? Is our election system broken beyond repair? |

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., known for his brash style, has always portrayed himself as a tough, scrappy politician. But recent developments have raised eyebrows. Could the man who once claimed he'd "beat the hell out of" Trump be hinting at his exit from the political stage? On Wednesday, Biden suggested he might not run for reelection if Trump isn't in the race. But was this just another off-the-cuff remark from the 81-year-old president, or is there more to it? Then there's the bold assertion that "probably 50" Democrats could beat Trump, not just him. Classic Biden confidence? Maybe. But beneath these words, something stirs. The Democrat Party leaders and their media allies aren't exactly thrilled about Biden being their 2024 front-runner. With his declining popularity and the House Republican-led investigations unearthing more skeletons, even his own party members are sounding alarms. Subpoenas for Biden's family, including direct payments from Hunter's company to Joe, are just the tip of the iceberg. The White House's stonewalling of investigations only adds fuel to the fire. Is Biden setting the stage to bow out, making it look like his own decision? |
