Special Announcements Input requested on updated NIH policy for subawards and consortium agreements NIH is accepting comments on updated reporting requirements for non-US subcontract/subaward agreements with prime institutions in any country. The requirements go into effect October 1, 2023, for all NIH grants: "For foreign subrecipients, a provision requiring the foreign subrecipient to provide copies of all lab notebooks, all data, and all documentation that supports the research outcomes as described in the progress report. These supporting materials must be provided to prime recipient with each scientific update (no less than once every three months) in line with the timelines outlined in the agreement." Supplemental funds available to enhance diversity Fogarty grantees in U.S. institutions can apply for supplementary support to enhance the diversity of the U.S. global health research workforce. These supplements provide support to current grantees for students, postdoctorates, and eligible investigators from diverse backgrounds, including those from groups that have been shown to be underrepresented in health-related research.
