From Today's Sponsored Advertiser: | | | | Rampant inflation and a hawkish Federal Reserve has really hit our economy hard. As a matter of fact, all of the major 401k plans lost money last year… But as bad as that was, here’s where it gets worse: Even if the stock market recovers, the damage of inflation could force many, many people to work an extra 5… maybe even 10 years - unless they have a way to supplement their income. And after months of intense research and development, we came up with Income For Life…… It's a brand new initiative to show Americans how to target a few hundred bucks in extra income each week. The fact is everyday Americans, young or old, are absolutely starved for income right now… | | | By clicking the link above you agree to periodic updates from DTI and its partners (privacy policy)

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, say a "near catastrophic car chase" ensued between them and pursuing photographers in Manhattan on Tuesday night. A spokesperson for the couple, who were returning from an event along with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, accused paparazzi of being "highly aggressive" and driving on the sidewalk and running red lights during a two-hour "relentless pursuit" of the famous pair. However, according to police sources, there were not as many photographers there as the spokesman said, and the pair only had contact with authorities for a short period of time. The police interaction with the couple lasted no more than 20 minutes. If the episode lasted the two hours Meghan and Harry say it did, it was because their security felt the need to take a circuitous route back to where they were staying, the sources said. The police sources didn't discount the idea that whatever occurred may have been scary for those involved. (read more) |

It's becoming more and more clear that American companies aren't actually advertising to reach their advertising base. If so, things like the recent Bud Light and Miller Lite debacles never would have happened. But what's really weird is that someone at both companies probably already knew that. And still, they wasted a whole lot of money and jeopardized the loyalty of their base. So, who are all of these woke ads really for? (learn more) |

On Wednesday, Joe Biden departed the White House for a trip to Japan without speaking to the press. He 'jogged' across the South Lawn to Marine One while waving to the press. It took President Biden more than a minute to figure out how to open his umbrella when he arrived in Japan on Thursday for the G7 Summit. The Japanese ambassador, Rahm Emmanuel, stepped in to shield Joe Biden's head from the downpour by using his own umbrella. (read more)

In just the past several weeks, a number of strange events have begun to play out in the world…
- US gas prices are at a record high, and are likely to stay there for a long time...

- Ukrainian President Zelensky says: "I'm ready for negotiations with Putin, but if they fail... it could mean a third World War"...
- Inflation reached 7.9% in February, and consumer prices are now the highest they've been in 40 years...
- To make matters worse, a plains drought will hinder America's wheat harvest, adding to global supply worries.

There is a bright spot in the ongoing stock market bear market. Dividend yields and stock prices move in the opposite direction. Consequently, dividend yields increase when stock prices decline. Due to this, income-focused investors can now lock in greater yields on high-quality dividend companies they already own, growing their positions' potential for passive income. If your allocation to these top dividend payers is modest, now is a fantastic time to double up on these stocks. Investors who don't hold them should consider including them in their portfolio. Here's why they're appealing choices for investors today who are looking for income. (read more) |

It's a headline that is all too familiar: Florida man steals a car, leads police on a chase and crashes into a building. But the reason behind the crash was a bit bizarre, even for "Florida Man." Michael Barr stole a vehicle in the Kissimmee area and took it for a joyride. When cops caught up with him in the Daytona Beach area, of course he tried to elude them. As police pursued the vehicle, Barr decided to jump from the SUV he was driving and let the vehicle crash into a building. Barr eventually told officers he was looking for a Wi-Fi connection at the time of the chase and crash. He was arrested and is now facing multiple charges. Thankfully, there is body cam footage of the end of the chase and Barr's dramatic arrest. (read more) |

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is going after the aggressive paparazzi in the city after news broke that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were involved in a "near catastrophic car chase" while trying to evade them. The story served as a grim reminder of how Harry's mother lost her life. "It's clear that the press, paparazzis, they want to get the right shot, they want to get the right story, but public safety must always be at the forefront," Adams said when asked by a reporter about the incident. "I thought that was a bit reckless and irresponsible." Here's what Mayor Adams had to say about the parallels this incident shared with Diana's, and what details he ultimately did express doubt about in the story. (read more) |
