Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an anti-vaccine activist and scion of one of the country's most famous political families, is running for president. Kennedy filed a statement of candidacy Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission. The 69-year-old is the son of a former New York senator, US attorney general, and assassinated 1968 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy. Should he go through with his presidential bid, Kennedy would be the latest in a long line of family members to enter politics. (read more) | |

Today, we'll be zeroing in on the U.S. dollar. Its strengths, its weaknesses, and how we can keep our currency strong and safe. If it's not a "reliable store of value," then those of us left holding it may be in big trouble. So what can aid us in our fight against de-dollarization? Perhaps a return to the gold standard. Here are the three Congressmen who have introduced a bill that will help us do exactly that. (read more) |

The now-retired Dr. Fauci visited James Madison University on April 3, 2023, for a town hall discussion with Jim Acosta. Dr. Fauci predicts that "there will absolutely be an outbreak of another pandemic" in the discussion. During a 2017 presentation at Georgetown University Medical Center's Center for Global Health Science and Security, Dr. Fauci infamously warned of a "surprise outbreak" under the Trump administration. In February, the Biden administration issued a press release reiterating their support for a "legally-binding" agreement that would cede American sovereignty during a pandemic and give the World Health Organization (WHO) authority over US policies. In the financial market, things are strange right now. Although most equities are still far from their all-time highs, the market has rallied dramatically over the past three to six months. As a result, investors are now pondering what the best bargain stocks are due to this. Investors want to put money to work when there's "blood in the street." Despite the big rally in the first quarter, plenty of stocks are still trading at bargain levels. (read more) |

A Florida man is behind bars after pulling out a machete in a bar. Travis Jordan, 39, was at Kennedy's Lamp Post Tavern in Cape Canaveral, Florida when the incident happened. Witnesses say Jordan requested a song that he wanted to perform during karaoke, but the bar denied his request. Jordan had already performed one song and the bar cut him off for a second performance, which prompted Jordan to brandish a machete. A woman was able to convince Jordan to give her the machete, which she hid, then she called law enforcement. When deputies arrived, they said Jordan had bloodshot eyes and he reeked of alcohol. Jordan told police he had been threatened earlier in the week, so he was carrying the machete for protection. Jordan was arrested without incident and remains behind bars as he faces a list of charges stemming from the incident. But that didn't stop the Brevard County Sheriff's Office for poking fun at the situation. They made a funny graphic to share on social media that was accompanied by this hilarious message.
