Great Britain just announced it is making steps towards moving to an all-digital currency. Authorities there just said businesses and consumers are soon likely to need digital versions of the pound. It's another example of the death of cash. Remember... Britain is the world's second-biggest financial sector. What happens there is surely likely to come to the U.S. That's what has me so worried about a meeting in March. We could get the same worrisome news just weeks from now.
