People began to suspect something was wrong when the Braddock and Day family never made it to a Christmas Day celebration. It turns out that the family's Land Rover wrecked in a remote part of Western Australia. It wasn't discovered for more than two days. Both parents, who were just 25 and 28, were declared dead at the scene. Their three young children (ages 1 to 5) were trapped in the wreckage the entire time. Here's how the little girl saved her brothers' lives until rescuers could arrive. (read more)

Image source: The Coin Republic | It's pretty clear that Washington has a love/hate relationship with disgraced digital currency fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried. After all, he's a massive Democratic donor. But just how close was he to the folks in charge over at Pennsylvania Avenue? Well, based on these reports, a whole lot closer than the White House would like you to think. How many times did he visit the White House this year alone? How long ago was his most recent visit? Why did he take his brother along with him back in May? And maybe most importantly of all, why hasn't Biden said whether or not he'll return those dirty donations he took from SBF? (read more)

Bloomberg: This fuel is the key to “solving the energy crisis.” It’s time for you to take part in the greatest energy revolution of our lifetime. It’s projected to be 10X bigger than the electric vehicle revolution… Which turned an early $500 investment in Tesla into $207,000. And it will be bigger than the solar power revolution… Which would have turned a $2,500 investment in Enphase Energy into over $1 million. This is the gretaest energy investing opportunity of our lifetimes. And the best part is… According to Bloomberg, President Biden has “almost guaranteed” that investors will have a shot at making a fortune from this brand new type of energy. Because it holds the key to “solving the energy crisis” in America. |

On Thursday, President Joe Biden engaged in some moral posturing regarding climate change. This occurred on the same day that the massive omnibus bill totaling $1.7 billion was flown to the Virgin Islands for the President to sign. The Bidens left Washington on Tuesday, and the bill that needed to be signed by Biden was delivered to the White House by Congress on Wednesday. That indicates that transporting the bill to the United States Virgin Islands would not have been required if President Biden had waited just one more day before departing. The White House has acknowledged that the bill was airlifted, but they have made an effort to avoid embarrassment by stating that it was carried on a commercial aircraft. (read more)

Retirees are most frequently connected with Social Security benefits. But Social Security Disability Insurance, or SSDI, is received by about 9 million working-age Americans. In fact, according to the Social Security Administration, there is a 1 in 4 risk that a worker born in 2000 may become incapacitated before reaching the age at which they are eligible for full retirement, which is 67. The cost-of-living adjustment, or COLA, that SSDI claimants get is the same as that of other beneficiaries. Therefore, the monthly benefit payment for anyone receiving Social Security disability payments will increase by 8.7% in 2023. A 10-year-old Milwaukee boy who was charged with shooting and killing his mother, Quiana Mann, after she refused to buy him a VR headset, doesn't seem too concerned with what he did. Instead of mourning the loss of his mother or grappling with what he did, he's been asking his family to protect his tech gadgets while he's in custody. The young boy's aunt Rhonda Reid revealed these shocking details after talking to him on Tuesday. Reid says the boy claims to not remember killing his mother, but will quickly shift the conversation to his material items. "When he calls, he's just like, 'Make sure all my tablets and laptop and everything of mine is properly packaged,'" Reid said. The boy's grandmother Lueritha Mann says she can't even bring herself to speak to her grandson because he "took something very precious" from her. Here's what Reid revealed about her nephew's past and how that played a role in the tragic incident. (read more) |
