Beauty has a reputation as a recession-proof category, but brands are still preparing for the effects of an economic downturn. Activewear brand Perfect Moment has secured funding from Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra as it gears up for a sale or IPO. For the first time in 20 years, the euro reached parity with the dollar. Inditex has made its first investment in a "clean tech" start-up, backing recycler Circ.
