Image source Canva Tesla CEO Elon Musk is currently being sued by some Tesla shareholders over some tweets he made back in 2018 about taking the company private.
Their ultimate goal is to get a federal judge to order Musk to stop commenting on the case.
The lawyers for these shareholders are arguing that some of these Tweets were false and that these continued comments violate the terms of a court settlement made in 2018 where both Musk and Tesla each agreed to pay up $20,000,000 in fines.
His most recent comments on the topic came on Thursday of last week during a TED 2022 conference. During the discussion, he said he only settled because he was strongarmed by some bankers that could have put Tesla in financial jeopardy.
Is this just Elon Musk trying to influence potential jurors in the lawsuit or something else?

Image source: Canva It should have been a fun night at the museum.
After all, where else in South Carolina can a patron pose with wax representations of the most popular celebrities?
According to the Hollywood Wax Museum: "There's only one thing as picture-perfect as sunset at the beach. You in a picture with your favorite stars! Here's the place to be an A-List pal, posing with famous folks, as your adoring fans snap away..."
But one person was shot over the weekend in a visit gone terribly wrong, police say.
Someone evidently opened gunfire at the South Carolina attraction around 8 p.m. on Saturday, but, as of this writing, cops still don't know who the gunman is.

The Bidens were able to avoid paying payroll taxes on more than $13 million in income by classifying most of their earnings as corporate profits rather than salaries.
They were at it again in 2021, writing off $61,995 in company earnings as payroll tax-free.
In total, the Bidens appear to have avoided paying more than $6,100 in Medicare and Social Security taxes in 2021.

Image source : Canva In what sounds like the premise of a sci-fi movie, Oxford scientists have warned against NASA beaming out Earth's location into outer space. Their reasoning? It could provoke an alien attack.
The proposed messaging includes the solar system's location relative to a major cluster of stars along with depictions of our solar system, Earth's surface and male and female humans. It concludes with an invitation for other intelligent beings to respond.
Senior research fellow at Oxford's Future of Humanity Institute, Anders Sandberg, said while the chance of the message reaching an alien civilization was low, it has such a high impact that we need to take it seriously. Dr Sandberg's colleague, Toby Ord, agrees and suggested a "public discussion" needs to be had before sending any messages to aliens because of the potential dangers.
In the past, other scientists have echoed these warnings, including Stephen Hawking. Here's what he had to say about the matter.
