NEWS OF THE STRANGE
Image Source: UPI A snake in Florida apparently had a hankering to go shopping but never had the opportunity to get inside the mall. That's because Albert Pardo spotted the creature just outside the Kendall shopping center and quickly called his friend, who happened to be a veterinarian, to remove the creature.
His dog was the one to notice what is believed to be a Burmese python.
"On the way back, [my dog, Archie] ran a little closer to it and he jumped up in the air. Like something startled him. We went back to investigate, and at that point the snake went into the water," Pardo said.

"A massive and surprising new transition could determine the next group of millionaires," says Chaikin, who predicted the 2020 market crash. "While leaving 99% of the public worse off than before." "If you own regular stocks, you're in for a big surprise," he adds. Chaikin, who has appeared numerous times on CNBC's Fast Money, says that you absolutely must consider buying one particular type of investment right now, before it's too late.
LIFESTYLE & LEISURE
Naturism, or naked enjoyment, appears to have been far more prevalent in earlier American history than it is now. Ben Franklin, for example, relished bathing in cold air in his birthday suit and did it frequently outside. Similarly, famous poet Walt Whitman enjoyed naked sunbathing and lyrically preached the benefits of nude swimming. President Theodore Roosevelt was known to stroll down to the Potomac River and jump in naked, seemingly inspired by Whitman's instruction. However, running around naked outside isn't as common as it once was, and it's illegal in most states.
Surprisingly, the epidemic appears to have provided many people with naturist opportunities, whether through the convenience of working from home or through personal gestures of liberation. It has also become a symbol of concern for the environment. Nudist groups and clubs in the United States and Europe have reported an increase in membership since 2020, claiming that there are numerous benefits to embracing a naturist lifestyle.
So let us get down to the bare facts of the matter as we explore these benefits.
TIRED OF OFFICE POLITICS?
Image Source: AOL News Former West Virginia lawmaker Derrick Evans who stormed the U.S. Capitol during the January 6 riot has now reached a plea deal. He filmed himself on a livestream where he made comments such as "We're taking this country back whether you like it or not," and "Today's a test run. We're taking this country back." Evans was charged on January 7, 2021. Evans resigned from his government position days later.
Federal prosecutor Kathryn E. Fifield said on Thursday, "The parties have reached an agreement regarding pre-trial resolution of this case and need additional time to complete and submit the necessary paperwork."
The plea agreement details have not yet been made available to the public.
FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, a prequel series that will explore Middle-Earth long before the hobbits discovered Sauron's One Ring, has unveiled new character posters on Prime Video.
The multimillion-dollar series is supposed to be inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's literary works, but Prime Video has kept the development under wraps thus far.
The new character poster continues the theme by emphasizing the torsos and hands of the figures.
Without immediately announcing who is who in a cast with almost 40 names already confirmed, Prime Video let fans do what they love the most: search for cryptic clues and try to figure out which Tolkien stories the future series is based on.
So will this series be a hit, or will Prime somehow ruin it all?

GADGETS & TECH
Image Source: Baona If your Mac or PC has the latest update, it now includes a few hidden features that you may not know about. On a Mac, for example, you can now copy and paste text from a photo. The innovative feature allows you to copy a number, email, hyperlink, or any other text from an image and save it as a contact, send a direct email by clicking on the text, or opening a browser to quickly go to a site.
If you have a PC, there's a new feature called Snap that allows you to organize all of your windows (if you use multiple at one time) in a way that allows for easier access and a better display. This can make working from your laptop much easier so you're not having to switch from tab-to-tab as much.
But what other hidden features are available on Macs and PCs and how can you use them?
