Press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday that the White House is having two confidential bipartisan briefings for congressional leadership on Ukraine. The conversations take place against the backdrop of Russia's months-long deployment of soldiers on the Ukrainian border. All-member briefings have also been requested by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, but those will have to wait until Congress returns to town. The administration continues to issue warnings about a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine. But even while Democrats criticized Trump of being soft on Russia when he was in power, Biden has done nothing to improve the situation.
