Tips for a Healthy and Safe Holiday Season 


* Get Your COVID-19 and Flu Shots.

Wear your mask and practice social distancing when in close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated. 

Wash your hands to help prevent the spread of germs.

Find safer ways to celebrate the holidays.

* Incorporate healthy eating into your meals and snacks.

* Get active and move more by getting 150 minutes of physical activity each week. Try breaking it up into 30 minute sessions over five days. Be sure to add muscle strengthening exercises. 

* Incorporate activities that help reduce stress like meditation or connecting with family and friends. 

Practice good sleep habits such as getting 8 hours of sleep each night or disconnecting from your phone, computer and other devices before bed. 

* Don't use tobacco. If you are looking for ways to quit smoking, call 1-800-QUIT-NOW for free support.
