Banana Republic, J.Crew and other struggling mall retailers have ambitious plans to rejuvenate their brands, but it's often easier to start fresh than to recapture past glory. Chanel and Armani are set to make a big splash in Dubai during the upcoming world expo but most luxury brands still need better localisation strategies across the wider Gulf. Warby Parker shares closed at $54.49 on their first day of trading, giving the eyewear retailer a market value of $6.1 billion. Everlane founder Michael Preysman is stepping down as chief executive and taking up a new role focused on the company's environmental efforts.
