When WallStreetBets squeezed GameStop short sellers in January, it was a wake-up call. A BIG one.
Wall Street was on notice.
But was it truly a black swan event ?
Maybe.
It was definitely a breath of fresh air...
For the first time in memory, retail traders had what seemed like true power in their hands.
It was also pretty crazy.
And for newbies, it was downright dangerous.
When GameStop finally crashed, diamond hands learned why hold and hope is not a strategy. The hard way.

Two things I've learned about the stock market and trading come to mind…
First, while some people learn the hard way…
Others never learn. Not fast enough to stay in the game, anyway.
Second, history repeats itself. (Or it at least rhymes.)
