Which Comes First, The Rabbit or the Nest Egg?
Discover The Method To Reap Sweet Profits As Chocolate Easter Eggs!
Hey Trader,
I hope you and your family enjoyed a safe, relaxing Easter weekend.
If you have kids, or nieces and nephews, you've probably heard this question at some point.
"How does that bunny lay chocolate eggs?"
When I heard that question this year, I thought about it from a couple of angles.
Of course, the Cadbury bunny was just a marketing attempt to use a cute mascot to sell more candy eggs.
But logically, there's no other connection between these two things.
It doesn't make sense, but somehow it still works.
The stock market contains hundreds of companies that you may or may not have ever heard of.
Each one has their own products, services, and leadership styles.
With that being the case, there are many that you have patronized.
I'm 100% positive that if you had a 5 minute conversation with the leadership of your favorite companies, you'd find some fundamental differences between your value systems, political leanings, etc.
You and your favorite CEO probably disagree on your favorite color.
Surprise, surprise… People are different.
There's a reason I always say, "Date your stocks — don't marry them."
If you only invested in companies that you agreed with 100% from the top down, your portfolio would be very slim pickings.
In fact, the only company's corporate philosophy that you'll ever agree with 100% is the one that you start.
Of course, if the company's service is kicking puppies, you're probably not going to invest in them.
But be reasonable.
We're in this market to make profits. Not friends.
And the last time I checked, brownie points weren't legal tender.
If you want to optimize your returns in the market, you HAVE to diversify the companies that you invest in.
Now, go out there and get yourself some day-after-Easter discounted chocolate eggs.
They taste just as good as they did yesterday.
And to sweeten the deal, don't forget to pick up some of these discounted stocks that are floating around in the market.
A good pick is a good pick, even if you're not buying what they're selling,
There doesn't have to be a personal connection between you and the stocks you invest in.
As long you focus on investing well, the resulting profits will taste just as sweet.
