Another down day for the market is causing whiplash for investors. The constant up and down from day to day is starting to feel like a roller coaster ride that won't end. But why does this keep happening? Right now, bond yields keep ebbing and flowing, causing investors to oscillate between buying and selling as concerns over inflation are all over the place. And since tech companies have relied on easy borrowing to expand their growth, their stocks are more susceptible to bond yield increases. Investors will have to decide if they want to wait out the yield increase in hopes that the stimulus package is finally passed or completely jump ship back into value investing.
