But you have to know how to use it to your benefit instead of being a sucker.  One of the best ways to do that is to understand how other traders think.  There's a book I recommend to every trader. Your understanding of crowd psychology will skyrocket.   As a trader, that can give you a HUGE advantage.  Thing is…  Human nature doesn't change. And we don't learn the important lessons of history.  When you combine history with an understanding of crowd psychology, it opens up a whole new world. Especially in the most hated niche in finance.  Wall Street traders don't care about penny stocks. But that's exactly why it's so important to understand crowd psychology. You don't have to trade against algorithms and computers. It's just you versus the crowd.   The madness of crowds is the perfect description for the crazy moves we've seen in penny stocks this year.  Last week was no exception. One stock ran from $1.07 to $32.45 in one day. That's an increase of over 3,000%... The feeding frenzy set off by that one stock caused several others to spike crazy amounts, too. Some ran 300%, 400%, even 500% in a few hours.  When stocks make moves like that, there are three things you can do...  First, you could watch and learn. That's not a bad option, but you can do better.  Second, you could buy as soon as you see it spiking. Join the madness of the crowd. Hope for the best. You never know, you might be one of the lucky ones…  Third, you could trade it like a pro, with a plan and a clear idea of risk versus reward.  Option number three is the best. But it's not a given. To trade like that requires knowledge and experience. It takes skills to do this...
