Sometimes it's like that trying to teach people to trade. Before they even start, they say things like, "I don't think you're the real deal. But when it comes down to it, they fight every suggestion I make.  They break every rule in the book and don't take responsibility for their stubbornness. They look for hot picks, trade random stocks, and chase whatever's running without a plan.  Some even try short selling without a clue about the risk they take.  Then, when their account gets crushed, they message me and ask why they're not successful.     I try my best to keep those kinds of people out of my life. It's one of the reasons there's an interview process to get into the Trading Challenge.  It's also the reason… I'll never treat you like a customer That might sound a little counterintuitive. But let me be totally clear: I have a great team to take care of you as a customer.  My job is to teach you the knowledge I've acquired during twenty years of trading. Knowledge that can take you from complete newbie to self-sufficient trader.  See, if I treated you like a customer my focus would be on the wrong things. For you to break free, my focus MUST be on your education. My duty as a teacher is to be the best mentor possible.  But that means YOU have to be the best student you can be. I literally don't have time to hold your hand. I'm too busy trying to cut through the BS in this industry full of fakes.  The beautiful thing is that being real helps me weed out lazy people. And THAT means more energy for dedicated students. So what kind of students am I looking for? Students who accept that I've seen it all in two decades as a trader.
