Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that he has agreed to a cease-fire deal with the militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon, a major breakthrough in efforts to avert a wider war in the region. In a speech delivered in Hebrew, Netanyahu said, "Tonight, I will bring before the cabinet a plan for a cease-fire in Lebanon." While the Israeli Cabinet could vote to reject the deal, it is generally expected to approve it.
