How much does it take...

💰  According to the 2024 Julius Baer Global Wealth and Lifestyle Report, the cost of maintaining a high-net-worth lifestyle in Manila has gone up, but not as much as its neighbors, with Manila's ranking going down from the 20th most expensive city to 21st.

💰  The Baer report analyses the cost of a basket of goods and services representative of 'living well' in 25 cities around the world. In the APAC region, affluent individuals are spending heavily on hospitality and health, with 74% and 63% of respondents claiming to have spent more on hotels and health, respectively.

💰  The global ranking per luxury good also shows interesting insights. The cost of wearables like jewelry and watches are less expensive in Bangkok than in Manila, but in terms of health, Manila's costs are cheaper. Of 25 urban cities, Manila is shown to have the least expensive lawyers.
