Dr. Reusch is a professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and a staff physician at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She is co-chair of the Metabolic Disorders Task Force of NIH's Researching COVID to Enhance Recovery (RECOVER) Initiative. Her NIDDK-supported research includes studies on the incidence and severity of new-onset diabetes associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection, and the effect of diabetes on COVID-mediated microvascular injury.
