At Boston Logan International Airport, a man was detained last month on suspicion of having a "vampire straw" in his carry-on luggage. Although the straws' name conjures images of Dracula and blood-sucking bats, vampires are not at all related to them. Candace Chapman Scott, 36, is facing charges after reportedly selling 20 boxes of human body parts to a man in Pennsylvania. Scott has pleaded not guilty to the crime. The man who purchased the body parts from Scott met her online through social media. He reportedly paid $11,000 for the various body parts. Authorities later identified him as Jeremy Lee Pauley. He is facing separate charges related to the purchase of the body parts. Scott sold Pauley a mix of human body parts and organs, including brains, hearts, lungs, large pieces of skin, genitalia and other body parts. She also reportedly sold Pauley multiple fetuses. Scott remains behind bars as she awaits her next hearing. But how did she have access to all of the body parts that she sold? (read more) |

Anurag Chandra from Southern California was found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder on Friday. Chandra reportedly rammed into their vehicle with his car after they played a doorbell-ringing prank on him. The incident occurred in January 2020. Chandra claims that one of the six teenage boys who were playing "ding-dong-ditch" rang his doorbell and showed him his butt, which made him "extremely, extremely mad."
