With the markets dropping all year and the economy teetering toward a recession, people are wondering what asset is the most valuable.
Great question.
Here is the current situation…
Economy: Teetering on a recession. Can this administration handle it? Probably not.
Stocks: The value of stocks has gone down all year and is probably headed lower. The Fed wants stocks to go down. Don't fight the Fed.
Gold: Gold is no longer a safe haven. The price of gold just hit a two-year low. It had value when Nixon was running the show. But since then, not so much.
Crypto: Forget about it. Bitcoin is down 66% in the last year. Bitcoin doesn't have any value other than speculative value — and that is nonexistent when money is tight. Like now.
Real Estate: Mortgage rates hit a new 20-year high. It's over for real estate. Home values going down.
You get the picture?
OK, even though the value of most assets is going down, there is one asset that is going up for a few people.
And this asset is the most valuable asset you can have…
What is it?
Your brain. And your ability to use it to execute a trading strategy.
You don't need to even be intelligent. Just look at me. I flunked 9th-grade math, and I can still do this.
