Ja'Ceon Terry was 7 years old when he suffocated to death while under the care of people who were supposed to look after him when his parents could not. It happened while he lived at Brooklawn, a foster care facility located in Louisville, Kentucky. The center cares for children with mental and behavioral needs. But his July 17th death from "positional asphyxia" has been ruled a homicide. And this isn't the first time that allegations of wrongdoing were reported at the facility. Let's just be very clear: if Trump had suggested this "big idea", he probably would have been arrested on the spot. But because Biden is looking for a mass exodus of Haitian migrants, apparently, this crazy move is fair game. So, where does Biden suggest we house all of these Haitian migrants as their nation transforms into a literal war zone? Well, at Guantanamo Bay, of course! So, how many migrants would be housed there and how long has this solution been in the works? (read more)

In the second debate for the governor's race in Georgia, Republican Governor Brian Kemp and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams faced off against one another on Sunday night. Despite Joe Biden's criticism of the state of Georgia's recently passed voting regulations, the state has already seen a record number of people vote early. Stacey Abrams, the Democrat running for governor of Georgia, hit out at Brian Kemp for making an accurate assertion that his opponent wants to defund the police and eliminate cash bail. Because the issue of crime is such a major liability for Democrats, Stacey Abrams and other Democrats are now denying that they ever supported the push to cut funding for the police. (read more)

For some, Halloween provides a way to let their imagination become a reality -- at least for a day. For others, it's a day of ghouls, goblins, and ghosts, with the intent of putting a little scare in those seeking candy. But for the stock market, Halloween represents just another day in 2022 of scaring the daylights out of investors. Since the year began, the timeless Dow Jones Industrial Average, broad-based S&P 500, and widely followed Nasdaq Composite have all plummeted into a bear market. The Nasdaq has been the biggest loser, with a peak-to-trough decline (since its November 2021 high) of 38%. On the one hand, history conclusively shows that putting your money to work in high-quality stocks during bear markets is a genius move. Eventually, every stock market correction and crash throughout history has been fully recouped (and some) by a bull market rally. On the other hand, not every stock will be a winner -- even at a perceived-to-be "discounted" price. Halloween is a reminder that some ultra-popular stocks are more trick than treat. Here are three perfect examples. (read more) |

Thirty-eight-year-old Justin Fields from Alabama was charged with murder and abuse of a corpse after he confessed to killing his girlfriend, 52-year-old Tammy Bailey. Authorities have confirmed that the reason for the muder was because Bailey refused to engage in sexual realtions with Field. Blount County Sheriff Mark Moon said that the couple lived in the same home, but had separate bedrooms. They reportedly got into an argument after going out on Friday night. "He had gone into his room, was playing guitar. His birthday was the day before he wanted to celebrate his birthday," Moon said. Fields went into Bailey's room and propositioned her for sex. When she turned him down, he claimed that he stabbed her one time before blacking out. Police believe Bailey died on Friday night, but that she was attacked again after her death. "On Saturday, he went back in there and felt like he was having a bad dream. For some reason, he stabbed her multiple times again," Moon stated. Here's what happened after Fields called his father and told him he had "done something really bad," and what police found in the home later on. (read more) |
