Source: International Data Corporation 📝 According to IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker, the PH tablet market grew by 40% year-on-year and 22% quarter-on-quarter in 2Q22. 📝 Big tenders from local government units and different DepEd division offices refueled the education segment, posting an increase of 92% YoY and 89% QoQ, respectively. 📝 The local market share for tablets is led by Cherry Mobile (30%), Samsung (17%), Lenovo (15%). With Chromebooks now listed as approved devices for schools, we may soon see vendors delivering ChromeOS-based devices.
