Last week was a wild ride in the markets, with Jerome Powell's 8-minute speech in Jackson Hole having major ramifications. It caused the S&P 500 to fall more than 3% and the Nasdaq composite to fall nearly 4%. Markets are constantly changing, and it is our responsibility as investors to adapt to various market cycles. Though we began the week slightly in the red, we quickly recovered while the markets washed away previous weeks' gains. With just one day left in the month of August, we are all set to finish strong.
