Dear Reader, Ford's profits were cut in half this year —in HALF— because they can't assemble their vehicles. It's getting so bad… you can even see all their unfinished cars from space. So now used cars are becoming more expensive… Why? Well, it's simple really… Because they're already built… They're already running… It's basic supply and demand. Consumers want the cars but there's literally no new supply. I could write for hours going through the entire ripple effect of a situation like this. But the easiest way to say it is this… Without a sufficient supply of computer chips, just about everything… From the safety of our streets and homes—to the items stocked at our local grocery stores… To the millions of items filling Amazon's warehouses–all rely on the semiconductor also known as the computer chip. As the Wall Street Journal put it, "The world relies on one chipmaker in Taiwan, leaving everyone vulnerable." The White House is, "racing to expand chip manufacturing." But – it's going to take YEARS. And it could soon unravel the entire world of technology and finance as we know it. Rendering dramatic, sweeping changes to your investments forever. |
