But the people living there are gluttons for punishment as they keep voting for liberals.
But Republicans have a chance to flip a House seat thanks to redistricting in the state.
When new district lines were drawn, Simi Valley was added to the 26th District. This gave Republicans a 5% boost. That means, with the right candidate, Republicans could turn another blue seat red in the House.
And that's exactly what Fadde Mikhail hopes to do. He's a young entrepreneur ready to take on the liberal agenda in California.
Mikhail intends to make history by flipping the 26th district and spearheading the push of a new generation of Republican lawmakers in 2022 by becoming a member of the coming Red Tide.
Let's hope that Mikhail can get elected and change left-leaning California for the better.
