What Effect Will the Omicron Variant Have on the Stock Market?
The big news this week has been the effect of the omicron variant on the stock market, and what it means for the global economy…

Some are saying omicron could be worse than the delta variant. I remember after 9/11, we had a lot of terrorist scares. Thankfully it passed, so these variant scares could be similar where you get flare-ups as the virus mutates, which is all part of the process.

Hopefully at some point, we'll get rid of coronavirus. But until then, we have to deal with it and how it affects our trading…

This variant is spreading fast after starting in South Africa, already showing up in many countries across the world. So markets were rattled last week, oil fell a bunch and the key now is to see whether this new variant can be contained… or if it's going to get out of control.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration is considering tightening travel restrictions in response to the omicron coronavirus variant.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell was set to appear before a House panel on Wednesday, just one day after saying he's considering tapering bond purchases even faster as the country grapples with rising inflation — more on that in Roger's Radar...

This can occur in any marketplace, but is most common in the foreign-exchange (forex) market and stock market. Typically, day traders are well-educated and well-funded. They utilize high amounts of leverage and short-term trading strategies to capitalize on small price movements in highly liquid stocks or currencies
