It may be a grim statistic… but it’s hardly unique to the United States. According to the United Nations’ World Health Organization, the global obesity rate has also tripled since 1975. WHO studies found that nearly 39% of the global population to be overweight and another 13% obese. Ideally, the U.S. and other developed nations will be able to course correct and turn the tide in a very different battle of the bulge. But in the meantime, we’ll need something to wear. And even if statistically most of us look more like Kevin James than LeBron James, many of the retail brands you know (and trade) don’t offer sizing that accommodates the changing American silhouette… But this one retailer does serve this critically underserved market! And their stock is just recently dipping down to 52-week lows… But with earnings on the horizon and a massive boost to its sector on the horizon… This one stock is right in the “sweet spot”!
