A Christmas adventure awaits

Visit Father Christmas in his new London home at the National Gallery this festive season and help his elves with preparations for their busiest Christmas yet!

Join a magical adventure in our winter wonderland with merry activities for the kids including elven storytelling, a festive card competition and a special gift from the big man himself.

Experience a winter wonderland

Take a trip to the wintry forest and earn your honorary Elf badge by making magical snowflakes, then hear a spellbinding Elven Story.

Meet Father Christmas

Look for the light of the enchanted lamp post shining the way to his cosy, snow topped cabin in the woods. For your hard work you'll receive a special token to take to the Elven Sorting Office to collect a special gift.

Competition time

After your visit to Father Christmas, you can take part in our competition to design your very own festive card for a chance to win £100 to spend in the Gallery Shop!
