A new episode of CBSN Originals' Reverb series investigates how gun owners are growing more diverse as increasing numbers of underrepresented Americans arm up saying they fear for their safety. During the pandemic, gun sales reached record highs. And in the wake of a racial reckoning and political divides, tensions in communities across the country reached a fever pitch. In response, people of color, members of LGBTQ+ communities, and other underrepresented groups are arming themselves. In the CBSN Originals documentary, The New Pro-Gun Generation, we hear from gun owners from these communities and explore why they're buying guns and getting trained, whether to protect themselves or "even the playing field."
