Long weekend for traders

What's a trader to do over a long weekend?

Well, relax for one! We're big fans of that.

But also, take some time to learn and get ready for the week.
There's a common trading indicator that you need to be familiar with.

Markay uses moving averages to know when a chart to move up or down.

It's a key part of her most critical trading pattern, and she wants to teach you how to use it.

This week, I've been fortunate enough to be on vacation with my family.

I know Rob talked about this yesterday, but it's impossible to over-stress the value of a good rest.

Traders need to spend some time getting away from their computers and recharging their batteries.

It doesn't have to be a big family trip.

Maybe you can just spend a day in the park or go to a restaurant that you really love.

Only you know what really refreshes you.

But I think it's critical that you find it.

Because on long weekends like this, you need to be able to stop worrying about your trading.

That could even mean closing losing positions just to get them off your mind. You should usually be doing that, anyway.

Whatever you need to do, find some time to relax this weekend. You deserve the break! You work hard!

Have a great weekend, and Happy Easter and Happy Passover to anyone who celebrates!
