THE UPFRONT

Dear BoF Community,

At least 570,000 Uyghur Muslims are being forced to work in Chinese cotton fields, according to a new report, and brands can't promise their products aren't implicated, with concern spreading from fast-fashion and sportswear companies to luxury groups like Kering. Elsewhere, H&M Group sank to a loss in the second quarter of 2020 with sales plummeting 50 percent year-on-year, but it has since recovered faster than expected. H&M CEO Helena Helmersson talks to BoF about making retail more resilient. Plus, as the internet rewires media and business, the brand age is giving way to the product age, argues Professor Scott Galloway in an exclusive excerpt from his latest book, 'Post Corona: From Crisis to Opportunity.'
