AMR made new all-time highs this morning, and this is not the type of train I'd want to step in front of. There are 3 THINGS I want you to keep in mind when looking for a Gamma Trigger move: |
The stock must be in a bullish uptrend. The stock takes a pause, and trades under the 20-hourly MA line for at least 3 days. The stock then resumes trading back above the 20-hourly level for a potential to resume the trend.

A lot of traders want to "jump the gun" and buy strong stocks on the dip. That is understandable, but I have found that waiting for the stock to trade back above the hourly level gives me a higher success rate. |
Now, let's fast-forward a few days and see what happened after that alert I just showed you… |
