New tech to protect you from market losses (with a big upside)
Just look at the recent plunges by previously “unstoppable” Big Tech stocks… …22% by Meta …18% by Amazon Billions of dollars in wealth were vanished in just a few days. As Russia prepares for a big assault, President Biden on Wednesday approved sending 31 U.S. Abrams M1 tanks to Ukraine. This came only hours after German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz indicated Ukraine will also receive Leopard 2 tanks from Berlin. To paraphrase President Biden, who was joined by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Defense Secretary Antony Blinken, these vehicles are the most effective tanks in the world and will increase Ukraine's ability on the battlefield. Senior defense officials informed reporters on Wednesday that Ukraine will get "hundreds" of tanks from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Sweden, with more tank shipments expected to be revealed by additional European nations in the coming days. Wednesday's decision is the result of weeks of frustrating and protracted negotiations with Germany. (read more) | |

Kaivon Deondre Washington, 18, Everett Lee, 28, and Casen Carver, 18, all turned themselves in on Monday while another 17-year-old unidentified minor turned himself in on Sunday. This comes more than a week after 19-year-old Madison Brooks was fatally struck by a car in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Brooks met the unidentified suspect on January 15 at a bar near the LSU campus. She then proceeded to leave with him and the three other suspects between 1 and 2 a.m. The arrest warrant says that the suspects claimed they didn't want to leave Brooks in her drunken state. The driver, Carver, told police that the 17-year-old and Washington both raped Brooks after she had fallen over and couldn't answer them. Here's what else he revealed about the incident, and what happened after they dumped her off in a nearby subdivision. (read more) |
