A high-profile member of Rock Church San Diego is bringing attention to the San Diego megachurch for all of the wrong reasons. 49-year-old Leticia McCormack and both of her parents have been arrested in the August death of 11-year-old Arabella McCormack. Letitia and her father, Stanley Tom, were both booked on one count of murder, along with three charges each for torture and willful cruelty to a child. Her mother, Adella tom, was booked on three counts each of torture and willful cruelty to a child. Lowe's and other home improvement chains saw big gains during the pandemic lockdowns. People were bored, and in the midst of that boredom, there was a big push just to do everything yourself. Former President Donald Trump may hurt himself politically by attacking Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican who has become very popular on the political right. Trump, who is expected to run for president again, has been making fun of the governor of the Sunshine State, Ron DeSantis. He has called him "Ron DeSanctimonious," and he has also threatened to spread negative information about DeSantis if he runs for president. During Florida's race for governor, DeSantis beat Charlie Crist, who was running as a Democrat. Trump said earlier this week that he had voted for DeSantis, but on Thursday, he released a lengthy statement in which he attacked the Florida politician and called him "an average REPUBLICAN Governor." Some people on the right didn't like Trump's monologue and criticized his comments. (read more) | |
