A Canadian Tesla owner is all fired up after his battery malfunctioned, and he's now locked out of his car. The car in question was purchased in 2013 and is now a year outside of its warranty period. In addition to his own personal boycott on any future Tesla purchases, he's getting Transport Canada involved. "I got Transport Canada involved, and they actually did an investigation on the car. Not only did they do an investigation on this car, they're gonna be doing one that Tesla doesn't realize is coming up." It appears that he's not the only Tesla owner facing the same problem. Dr. Raynaldo Rivera Ortiz of Texas is facing federal charges for allegedly tampering with intravenous bags and causing the death of another physician. The incident occurred at Baylor Scott and White Surgicare at North Dallas. Ortiz was arrested on suspicion of contaminating the IV bags after being caught on video placing the bags in warmer operating rooms prior to patients suffering unexpected medical issues during their routine surgeries. Tiny holes were also discovered in the bags. Ortiz has now had his license suspended by the Texas Medical Board. Dr. Melanie Kasper took one of the tampered bags home and fell ill after using it.
