Image source Canva Since 2022 began, the FAA has proposed an estimated $2,000,000 in penalties for unruly passengers. And this includes the largest-ever fines in the history of flying.
The top fine of $81,950 was against a woman whose identity hasn't been released. She was hit with the penalty after threatening a flight attendant who tried to help her after a nasty fall and then tried to open the cabin door. That passenger hit, head-butted, bit and spit at crew members in a July flight from Dallas to Charlotte.
The second-highest fine ever was also levied against a woman. Take a look at what she did to earn it.

Image source :Canva In Pennsylvania, Republicans are registering a large number of new voters. Not only that, but many Democrats are jumping ship and moving over to the red side.
According to the most recent figures from Pennsylvania's State Department, four Democrats moved to the Republican Party this year for every one Republican who did the opposite.
The advances suggest broad displeasure with President Joe Biden and Democrats. Liberals face many close statewide elections, including a Senate fight that may determine control of the chamber.
At this rate, Democrats could lose a lot of ground in solid blue states throughout the country.

Image source : Canva When investors are unable to objectively distinguish between a company's operations and its stock, they typically overpay for the appropriate company. A terrible stock may exist if a company is trading at unsustainable levels, but a mediocre company may have an amazing stock if it is significantly undervalued.
Due to rising interest rates and other macro problems, many of the market's finest growth stocks have been tumbling in recent months. While the sale of many high-growth enterprises has provided fantastic buying opportunities, others have remained unreasonably pricey even after being reduced.

Image source: Canva Some formally trained archaeologists can go a lifetime without making a substantial find.
But for this ancient treasure trove, all it took was a few construction workers going through their daily grind. They were working on-site in Spain digging a ditch to bring electricity to a park, and the day started out just about like any other on the job. But it definitely ended differently!
While they were digging, they hit literal "pay dirt" and came across an astonishing discovery. The discovery was so big they couldn't even dig it all up.
What they thought were just old clay pots turned out to be ancient amphoras, which were made during the time that Rome ruled much of Europe.
But it was what was inside of these amphorae that turned out to be very special. And the final assessment of the value will blow your mind.

Image source : Canva Nonprofit advocacy organization Environmental Working Group released its annual lists "Dirty Dozen" and "Clean Fifteen" on Thursday that uses data from the Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration.
The group discovered that more than 90% of strawberry, apple, cherry, spinach, nectarine and grape samples were positive for at least two pesticides. Kale, collard and mustard greens, hot peppers and bell peppers had the most …with one sample showing up to 21 pesticides.
The products containing the least amount of pesticides were avocados, sweet corn and pineapple. The data consisted of results from nearly 45,000 produce samples from 2020. So, can you guess what other foods made the lists?
