Events NIH Rural Health Day Virtual Seminar November 17, 2022 at 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. (ET) The 2022 Rural Health Seminar centers on the intersection of rurality and other factors that impact how research is implemented with rural populations. The event features expert insights into the effects of social determinants of health, culture, race and ethnicity, sexuality and gender, chronic complex conditions, and the lived environments. Society for Prevention Research Annual Meeting May 30 – June 2, 2023 Presentation abstracts are being accepted for the 31st Annual Meeting of the Society for Prevention Research (SPR). The meeting theme is "The Role of Prevention Science in Achieving Social Justice and Health Equity for All." This theme highlights the need for etiological research and innovative upstream and downstream interventions that have the potential to make meaningful advances to achieve health equity. Through an R13 award, NINR is a co-funder of the meeting. The call for abstracts is open now through October 31, 2022. Learn more. |
