At least two planes filled with undocumented immigrants were sent from Florida to Martha's Vineyard Wednesday, according to a statement from the governor's communications director. Flights to the upscale island enclave in Massachusetts were part of an effort to "transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations," said Taryn Fenske, DeSantis' communications director. The surprise move follows similar tactics by the governors of Texas and Arizona to send undocumented migrants to liberal states to protest the increase in illegal immigration under the Biden administration. According to sources, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said over a private dinner with fellow Democratic senators that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is "in trouble" and that Democrats are likely to lose the House. On Monday night, Democratic senators Chuck Schumer of New York and six others were observed eating at the upscale Italian restaurant Trattoria Alberto in Washington. The group's conversation could be heard by other diners. A Pennsylvania man is making headlines after he visited a Dairy Queen in Delmont and caused quite the scene. Jan Stawovy, 61, was wearing a yellow safety vest and a rainbow wig when he showed up to the restaurant in support of Donald Trump. Stawovy said he was "undercover with Pennsylvania State Police working on a major drug sting" when he arrived, but immediately started talking about Trump. The man claimed he was "working to restore Trump to President King of the United States" when cops arrived to the scene. He also yelled profanities at officers and referred to himself as a prophet who would "kill all the Democrats because Trump was still president." A group of veterans in wheelchairs got more than they bargained for during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is an annual harvest celebration in China, after their nursing home enlisted a stripper dressed in lingerie to entertain the men. The nursing home in question, the Taoyuan Veterans Home, is now issuing an apology for the stunt…even though the residents didn't seem to mind too much. Video footage of one of the men grabbing the stripper as she "twerked" over him has now gone viral. Naturally, people have stormed social media to deliver their thoughts on the choice of entertainment. Many are defending the facility and say that the residents deserve to have some fun.
